1 recipe Lemon Curd Filling or Pastry Cream (both recipes in cookbook)
2-3 c fresh berries or assorted seasonal fruits (see note below), peeled, seeded or sliced
1/2 c apple jelly
powdered sugar, optional
Spoon desired filling into the tart shells. Arrange fruits on top of the filling. Melt the apple jelly in the microwave 30-60 seconds. Brush fruit with liquid jelly for a glossy finish. Lightly dust with powdered sugar if desired. The tarts may be assembled and refrigerated several hours before serving.
