Combine cream cheese, cheddar, sherry,c rry, salt and hot pepper with an electric mixer. Beat until almost smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste. Spread in 1/2 inch thick disk on serving platter. Chill to firm. At serving time, spread chutney over the top of the mixture and sprinkle with onions. Serve with crackers.
Megan's Note- this recipe is an absolute favorite from my personal recipe box, and looks wonderful on the Cheese Board with Glass Dome, or the flat side of the 8 in 1 Entertainer.
