     Egg Custard Pie

Ingredients
6 Whole Eggs
1 Heaping Teaspoon Corn Startch
2 Cups Milk
2 Cups Sugar
Butter, size of a walnut
1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg (Scant Measure)
 

Instructions
Blend milk, sugar, and corn startch. Add eggs, beaten until foamy. Stir in melted butter (not hot) and nutmeg. After mixing thoroughly pour into a rich pastry crust. Cook slowly for 3 minutes. Do not add meringue. Serves 8.
