     Red Velvet Cake

Ingredients
2 cups oil
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
Mix together-
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
Mix together-
1 1/2 teaspoons cocoa
 
1 bottle red food coloring
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions
Crem the sugar with the oil, add eggs and beat well. Add cocoa, coloring and vinegar mix. After beating well add flour mixture and buttermilk alternately. Next add vanilla. Bake the batter at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. Grease and flour 3 cake pans.
Icing- 1 stick oleo margin 1 8 oz cream cheese 1 1 lb box powdered sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla Beat Together well. Add 1 cup chopped pecans if desired.
