1 C. BUTTER
4 C. SUGAR
12 EGGS
2 T. ANISE EXTRACT
2 C. GROUND ALMONDS
2 t. SALT
2 T. - 2 t. BAKING POWDER
8 C. - 4 T. FLOUR
 

Instructions
CREAM BUTTER WITH SUGAR,ADD EGGS ONE AT A TIME AND BEAT AFTER EACH ADDITION.ADD ANISE, NUTS AND DRY INGREDIENTS.
SHAPE IN LOGS. BAKE AT 350 15-18 MIN TILL LIGHTLY BROWN.
CUT INTO SLICES LAY ON SIDE BAKE AT 250 FOR ABOUT TWO HOURS TURING OVER HALF WAY THROUGH TILL AS HARD AS YOU LIKE.
