     New Orleans French Toast

Ingredients
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup milk
4 pieces of French bread
Oil
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
 

Instructions
Preheat broiler. Combine eggs and milk and soak bread in mixture. Fry bread in small amount of oil. Combine brown sugar, pecans and butter; spread over fried bread slices and place on baking sheet. Toast under broiler until mixture bubbles.
