     Hawaiian Meatballs

Category   Appetizers
Sub Category   None
Servings   6-8
Preptime   2 Hours Slow Cooker

Ingredients
2 Pound Bag of Frozen Meatballs (I use Schwans)
12 Ounce Jar Pineapple Preserves
18 Ounce Bottle Barbeque Sauce (I use Sweet Baby Ray’s)

Instructions
Place frozen meatballs into slow cooker. Stir together pineapple preserves and BBQ sauce, pour over meatballs. Stir to coat meatballs.
Cover and cook on LOW until hot, about two hours, gently stirring once or twice.
For a large gathering, I double the recipe, using two bags of meatballs, two bottles of BBQ sauce, and one 18-ounce jar of pineapple preserves. Cook 2-3 hours until hot
I wanted to make an appetizer for a party, and used what I had on hand, and it was a success! These are a staple at all of our gatherings now. Everyone loves them, and they could not be easier.
Serving Suggestions
I serve in the slow cooker on WARM setting with lots of toothpicks alongside.
