WE always made this weekly! If you want to use brown rice -
remember to allow for longer cooking time - and Mom always told
me DON'T PEEK AT THE RICE!

Melt margarine.
Saute pine nuts in margarine
Add rice and cook on medium for 2 minutes.

Add chicken stock, salt, pepper and cinnamon
Stir and bring to a boil.
|
|
|
Turn heat down to medium low and cook covered until water is
absorbed. (I still don't know how we know this without PEEKING
AT THE RICE!)
