     Char’s Mexican Dip

Category   Appetizers
Sub Category   Gameday-Tailgate
Servings   Party Size
Preptime   15-30 Minutes

Ingredients
1 Pound Hamburger
1 Small Block Velveeta Mexican Cheese (Mild or Hot)
1 Package Taco Seasoning Mix
1 Can of Manwich
Tortilla Chips, Scoop Style Work the Best

Instructions
Brown the hamburger and drain any grease. Cut cheese into small chunks.
If you’re using a crockpot, put the browned burger in the crockpot. Place cheese chunks on top of the burger. Mix the taco seasoning and the sloppy joe mix and then pour it over the burger and cheese chunks. Turn on low or high, depending on how soon you need the dip. Stir occasionally after the cheese melts.
If you’re doing it on the stovetop, add chunks of cheese to the browned burger. Add sloppy joe mix and taco seasoning. Cook over medium low to medium heat until the cheese has melted, stirring occasionally.
Serve with tortilla chips/scoops. Best if it can be kept warm while serving.
Serving Suggestions
You can also have toppings like sour cream, green onions, guacamole, etc. on the side for garnish.
