     Beef Brisket

Ingredients
1 T chopped garlic
1 ts coarse salt
fresh ground pepper
3 T olive oil
4 to 5 lb beef brisket, trimmed
Herbs to taste
3 cups reduced sodium beef broth
 

Instructions
Combine garlic and herbs. Make slits allover brisket w/point of a sharp knife. Rub Herbs into brisket and place in a zip lock bag for 24 hrs w/ olive oil.
Preheat oven to 275f. Sear brisket on all sides put in dutch oven and bake ( covered ) for 3 to 4 hours , basting every 1/2 hour.
