     Montie's Pulled Barbeque Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients
3-4 lb. beef rump roast
Sauce for beef-
1 lg. Vidalia onion, chopped
6 T. butter
2 cups ketchup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sweet pickle juice (apple cider vinegar can be substituted
4 T. brown sugar
4 tsp. mustard
 
4 T. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
Cook rump roast for 8 hours in a crockpot with a small amount of water covering the bottom at medium temperature. Beef should be fork-tender and falling apart easily. Remove and shred beef with a fork and knife. Melt butter in a large pot. Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in ketchup, salt, pickle juice, brown sugar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer together for 5 minutes then add pulled beef and simmer until hot. Serve on your favorite rolls. This also freezes well
