     Spaghetti Sauce

4 pounds ground beef
2-1/2 cups chopped onion
1 cup crisco
4 cans tomatoes
4 cans tomato sauce
4 cans tomato paste
4 cans mushrooms
2 tbsp salt
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried thyme
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese

In a large saucepan, cook beef and onion in hot crisco until browned. Add remaining ingredients. (Drain crisco off meat before adding ingredients.) Cover and cook over moderately low heat for about 1 hour. Stir in cheese and heat until melted.
