     Cranberry Steamed Pudding

Ingredients
1/4 C. molasses
1/4 C. Karo Syrup
1/3 C. water
1 1/2 C. flour
2 tsp. soda
2 C. cranberries, halved
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 pint cream
 
1/2 C. butter
2 C. sugar

Instructions
Mix all pudding ingredients in a metal or glass Pyrex bowl. Fill a the bottom of a large double boiler pan or large soup kettle with 2-3 inches of water. Place pudding (in bowl) inside, with lid over entire pan. Bring water to a boil. Let pudding steam for 2 and 1/2 hours on top of stove. Just before serving, place cream, butter and sugar in a saucepan. Stir as you bring to a boil. Boil for 5-10 min., until sauce becomes syrupy. Drench steamed pudding with cream sauce.
