Mix all pudding ingredients in a metal or glass
Pyrex bowl. Fill a the bottom of a large double
boiler pan or large soup kettle with 2-3 inches of
water. Place pudding (in bowl) inside, with lid
over entire pan. Bring water to a boil. Let
pudding steam for 2 and 1/2 hours on top of stove.
Just before serving, place cream, butter and sugar
in a saucepan. Stir as you bring to a boil. Boil
for 5-10 min., until sauce becomes syrupy. Drench
steamed pudding with cream sauce.
