Ingredients
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
2 3/4 Cups Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
1/1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Melted Butter
1 1/2 Cups Boiling Water
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
1 Cup Nuts
1 Package of Dates
 
1 Egg
1 Small Bottle of Cherries
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees Pour boiling water over dates and let stand Creme butter - Sugar Add beaten egg Add dry ingredients to water from dates Mix well Add dates, nuts and cherries (including juice) Separate into two loaf pans Bake for 1 hr
