3 potatoes cubed

2 cans of tomatoes (Hunts Diced )`

1 large onion, chopped
|

1 celery stalk, chopped
|

1/2 cup peas
|
|
1/2 cup corn
|
|
2 cups cabbage cut up
|
|
1 strip bacon (more if you like bacon_)
|

1/2 tbsp salt
|
|

1 tsp pepper
|
|
3 tbsp sugar
|
|
2 tbsp butter
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Combine potatoes, tomatoes, onio, celery, carrot, peas, corn and cabbage. Cook over medium heat for one hour.
|

Meanwhile fry bacon until crisp. Add bacon, salt, pepper, sugar and butter. Cook for two more hours.

|
Stir occasionally as soup boils on medium heat
|
