Boil: 2 sticks butter; 1 cup water; 4 T. Cocoa

Sift and Add: 2 cups flour; 1 1/4 cup sugar; 1/2 t. salt

Beat in: 2 eggs; 1/2 cup buttermilk; 1 t. baking soda; 1 t vanilla
|
|
|
Bake at 350 degrees in jelly roll pan.
Frosting: boil: 1 stick butter; 4 T. cocoa; 6 T. milk. Mix in: 3 3/4 cup sifted powder sugar; 1 1/2 vanilla. Spread warm on warm cake. Cool before serving.
