     Sausage and Cheese Crescent Squares

Ingredients
2 Cans Refrigerated Crescent dinner Rolls or 2 Cans Crescent Dough Sheets
1 lbs. Pork Sausage
1 pkg. Cream Cheese
2 C. shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
 

Instructions
Heat oven to 375. If using crescent rolls- Unroll 1 can of dough int 2 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 9x13 glass baking dish; press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides. If using dough sheet, place in pan and press in bottom and 1/2 inch up sides. In skillet, cook sausage, stiring frequently, until no longer pink Remove sausage from pan and drain on paper towel, discard drippings. To the same skillet, add cream cheese. Cook over low heat until melted. Add cooked sausage stir to coat. Spoon over crust in baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese If useing crescent rolls; Unroll second can of dough on work surface. Press to form 9x13 rectangle; firmly press perforations to seal. Carefully place over cheese. Do the same if using dough sheet Bake 21 to 26 min. or until golden brown. Cool for 15 min. Cut into squares.
