In large pot, heat oil over meadium-high. add onion, garlic and jalapenos.
cook and stir until onions are translucent (5mins)
add chili powder, oregano and cumin, cook for 1mins
stir in broth, tomatos, chilies, hominy, and salt.
bring to boil, reduce heat to simmer for 20mins
add chicken, simmer (10mins) and add cilantro
serve with lemon wedge avacado slice
