In a large bowl combine all the dry ingredients and the (blueberries or chocolate chips). In a small bowl combine the melted butter, milk and egg. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined. As a rule you should never beat muffin batter so you will have light and fluffy muffins. Fill muffin tins 3/4 full and bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.
For an extra treat melt about 2 Tbsp of butter; dip the tops of the muffins in the butter and then into some white sugar to make the muffins sparkle.
