caramelize onions well, add spices, mix and then add
flour and mix, add soup powder, marmite and water.
Bring to a boil, lower flame to medium and cook till
onions are soft and soup is flavorful. Add wine and
cook for a short time.

serve with a plate of croutons or toast and a bowl of grated cheese
