     Pasta and Cabbage Bolognese

1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups shredded cabbage
1 packet of Gardein meatless ground protein
2 cups vegetable broth
1 16 ounce can crushed tomatoes
2 tsp soy sauce
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt, pepper, basil, and oregano to taste
Cooked pasta or rice
2 T parmesan cheese

Saute onion, garlic, and cabbage until the cabbage wilts. Add Gardein packet and all other ingredients except cheese. Cover, reduce heat, and cook for about half an hour.
Meanwhile cook pasta or rice. I prefer using whole wheat spaghetti.
Ladle cabbage mixture over pasta or rice and sprinkle a little parmesan cheese over the top.
