Preptime   1 hour

Recommendations
  beer and football

Ingredients
4 lbs chicken wings (or drumsticks if you like a more meaty version)
salt (smoked salt if you have it)
pepper
garlic powder
lemon juice
Texas Pete or Frank's hot sauce

Instructions
Buy wings already cut into segments or cut wings into three parts and discard wing tips. Pour 1/4 cup lemon juice over the wings and sprinkle generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well and let sit for a few hours if you have time.
Heat oven to 375. Drain juice off of wings and spread in a single layer on baking sheet. Cook for 30-45 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes. When wings start to get a little crispy and dry remove from oven and drain off juice. Put wings in bowl and coat with hot sauce. Then either return to hot oven for 5 to 10 minutes on baking sheet or grill briefly on both sides in a barbecue on low.
Traditionally served with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks. Can substitute ranch dressing if you are Ari.
You will need about 1 pound of wings per person if you want a generous appetizer portion of 10 wing segments.
