brown and break apart sausage and drain fat

Grease an 8 inch square baking dish.
Add half the waffles in a single layer, top with half the sausage and 1/2 the cheese.
repeat with remaining waffles, sausage and cheese.

Whisk together eggs, milk and syrup and salt and pepper and pour evenly over casserole.
|
|
|
wrap with plastic and place in fridge for at least 1 hour or up to 1 day. (I usually let it sit overnight)
Take out of fridge and stick it in the oven while it's preheating.
Once oven comes to temp...Bake at 325 for 45-50 min.
If you double this, it will take longer to cook.
