Fill a large saucepan with water and 1 tsp salt. Bring water to a boil.
Add the snap peas to the boiling water and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. You may need to do 1/2 or the snap peas at a time, depending on the size of your pan.
Remove snap peas from the boiling water and place them in a large bowl filled with ice water.
Let the snap peas cool for 2 minutes. Drain and place in a large bowl. Combine with Italian salad dressing. Toss to coat and serve.
