     Jelly Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 egg yolks
2 2/3 cups all purpose flour
Rasberry or Apricot Jam
 

Instructions
Heat oven to 350.
Cram butter until light and fluffy. Add sugar, egg yolks and beat well. GRADUALLY add in flour until well incorporated.
Shape level tablespoons of dough into balls. Place on cookie sheet. Press each with thumb, leaving a small 'well'. Drop a bit of jam into each.
Bake 10-20 minutes until lightly browned. Cool on racks.
Serving Suggestions
We sometimes sprinkle with a bit of powdered sugar before serving as well.
