     Baked Acorn Squash

Ingredients
1 Acorn Squash
Water
4 Tsp Maple Syrup
2 Tbsp Butter
4 Tsp Brown Sugar
 

Instructions
Wash squash and cut it in half. Scoop out seeds. Make cuts in the meat of the squash. Place squash in baking dish. Fill the baking dish with about 1 inch of water.
Rub 1 Tbsp butter inside each half of squash. Leave remaining butter inside squash. Then put 2 Tsp of brown sugar in each half and spread it all around the inside of the squash. Pour 2 Tsp maple syrup over each half.
Bake for 1 hour or until tender. When finished baking spoon liquid inside squash all over the meat of the squash to spread the flavor.
Wait a few minutes for them to cool a little bit and serve.
