Preheat oven to 350. Reserve 3/4 apple pie filling. Spoon remainder onto crust. Beat together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs and beat well. Pour over pie filling and bake 35 minutes or until center is set. Mix reserved filling and caramel topping in a saucepan, heat about 1 minute. Spoon sauce onto cheesecake and spread evenly. Decorate with pecan halves and chopped pecans. Chill.
