     POT ROAST

Ingredients
2-3 lb. boneless chuck roast
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 cups water
1cup red wine
1 tsp basil
1 tsp chopped garlic
2 tabsp olive oil
2 cups potato wedges
2 cups slice carrots 1/2 cup sliced celery
 
1/2 cup peas
2 tabsp flour
1/2 cup water

Instructions
Sear meat in oil, add water-wine,soup mix-herbs simmer 1 hour-covered Add vegetables - simmer 1 hour covered Remove all leaving broth Add flour and water Heat over medium heat to make 1 cup gravy Add all back to pot and mix thouroughly
