Combine milk, cream cheese, flour, and salt in a blender. Blend
until smooth. In a skillet, melt butter on med-high heat and add
garlic. Cook garlic about 30 sec, until aromatic. Add milk
mixture to pan and cook, stirring constantly for 3-4 min until it
comes to a simmer. Keep stirring and let it cook a few more min
to thicken. Remove from heat, add the cheese and stir to
combine. Cover pan immediately and let stand for 10 min to
thicken. Think with add'l milk if desired and season with salt and
pepper.
