Bake yellow cake mix as directed. While cake is baking, cook pineapple in its own juice and 3/4 c sugar over medium heat until thick and syrupy (about 2 min). Take cake out of oven when done and pierce top of cake at 1 inch intervals with fork. Pour pineapple mixture over cake while cake is still warm. Spread evenly. Cool Cake. Mix 2 pkgs instant vanilla pudding with 3 c milk. Spread over cake mixture. Then spread Cool Whip over the pudding mixture. Refrigerate.
