     Banana Pudding

Ingredients
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
Dash of salt
4 eggs separated at room temperature
2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
35-45 Nilla Wafers
5-6 medium bananas
 

Instructions
Combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour and salt to top of double broiler. Stir in 4 egg yokes and milk blend well. Cook over boiling water stirring constantly until thickened. Cook 5 more minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Layer custard in thirds with wafers and bananas.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Place over finished layers of pudding. Bake at 425 for 5 minutes until peaks are browned.
