1 lb lean ground beef
|
|
1 can (15 or 16 oz) spicy chili beans in sauce, undrained
|
|
1 C Old El Paso Thick and Chunky salsa
|
|
2 C coarsely broken tortilla chips
|
|
3/4 C sour cream
|
|
1 C shredded cheddar or monterey Jack cheese
|
|
1 meduim tomato, chopped
|
|
4 medium green onions, sliced
|
|
whole tortilla chips, shredded lettuce, and additional salsa if desired
|

Instructions |
|
|
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook ground beef until thoroughly cooked, drain. Stir in beans and 1 c salsa. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

In an ungreased 2 quart casserole, place broken tortilla chips. Top with beef mixture. Spread with sour cream. Sprinkle with cheese, tomato, and onion
|
|
|
Bake uncovered for 20-30 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with tortilla chips, lettuce and salsa
|
