     Strawberry Special

Ingredients
Crust
1 cup flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Filling
1 cup sugar
2 egg whites
2 teaspoons lemon juice
 
1 pkg (10 oz) frozen strawberries, partially thawed
1 cup cool whip

Instructions
Crust- Mix together and spread on cookie sheet. Toast at 375 for 10 minutes, stirring twice. Cool. Place 1/2 of crumbs in a 9 x 13 pan. Reserve other half for topping. Filling- Blend in large mixer bowl on low speed. Then beat 15 -20 minutes at high speed. Do not underbeat. Mixture will fill bowl if beaten long enough. Fold in 1 cup cool whip. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs and freeze.
Serving Suggestions
Take out of freezer 15 minutes before serving. Cut in squares
