     Banana-Rama Tagalongs Pie

Ingredients
CRUST-
20 frozen Tagalongs
bananas
FILING-
1 1/2 c sugar
6 T cornstarch
3 egg yolks
3 c milk
dash salt
 
1 banana, cut into small bite size pieces
2 1/2 t banana flavoring
TOPPING-
1 1/2 t butter
1/2 tub Cool Whip whipped topping

Instructions
CRUST-Oven to 325 degrees. Use cooking spray to lightly coat a 9” pie plate. Crush Tagalongs. Press crumbs into bottom and up sides of pie plate. Bake for 10 min or until chocolate from the cookies has slightly melted. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack for 20 min. Finish cooling in fridge for 15 min. Before pouring filling into crust, line bottom of crust with one layer of thinly sliced bananas.
FILLING-Cook together over med heat in large saucepan, stirring frequently to avoid sticking. When pudding has thickened, remove from heat and add 2 ½ t banana flavoring and 1 ½ t butter on top. Let sit five min without stirring. After 5 min, stir and pour into pie crust.
TOPPING-When pie is cool to the touch, top with cool whip. Crumb and additional 2-3 Tagalongs. Refrigerate pie until serving.
