     Creamy Dreamy Peanut Buttery Cupcakes

1 box butter yellow cake mix
1/2 c peanut butter
1/2 box Tagalongs, chopped into bite size pieces (save other 1/2 for garnish)
1/4 c butter, softened
1/2 c shortening
1/4 c peanut butter
1/2 t salt
milk to create medium consistency

CUPCAKES-Prepare cake mix according to box directions. Add peanut butter and mix until combined. Add cookies and stir with a spatula or wooden spoon to combine. Do not over mix when adding the cookies. Spoon into cupcake pan with liners. The easiest way to do this is with an ice cream scoop. Bake in 350 degree oven 20-22 min. Let cupcakes cool in pan for 5 min, then remove and let cool completely on a rack.
ICING- Combine butter, shortening and peanut butter until smooth. Mix in salt and vanilla. Combine powdered sugar, cocoa and enough milk to make a medium consistency and icing is smooth. Ice cupcakes with either a spatula, or place in a pastry bag and pipe round circles onto tops of cupcakes. Garnish with Tagalong cookie crumbs or whole cookies. Makes 24 cupcakes.
