     PIE MERINGUE

Ingredients
3 egg whites at room temperature
3 tablespoons ICE water
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
I used 1/2 sugar and 1/2 Splenda and it worked fine
 

Instructions
This is properly called JACOBSON'S MERINGUE Add the ice water to the egg whites and whip to a froth. Mix the sugar and baking powder and add very gradually to whites. Whip until glossy and stiff. Spread meringue over pie making sure it touches the pie crust or meringue will shrink.
