In a mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by heaping tablespoon 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.
Heat at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire rack.
