4 ripe Bose Pears (peeled, cored & cut into ½ -in chunks
Instructions
Combine onion, sugar, wine, ginger, lemon & salt in medium pan. Bring to a boil @ high temp- stirring to dissolve sugar. Simmer 15 minutes, add berries & pears. Simmer again for 20 mins..until softened. Discard zest.
Cool before serving. Can be stored up to 2 weeks .
