Ingredients
1 Lb. Italian sausage or ground beef, or half and half
1 clove garlic minced
1 T.. Basil
1 1/2 t. Salt
1 (16oz.) can tomatoes
1 can(12oz.) tomato paste
1 pkg.(10oz.) lasagna noodles
3 C. Fresh ricotta cheese or creamy cottage cheese or half/ half
1/3 C. Parmesan cheese
 
2 T. Parsley
2 beaten eggs
1 t. Salt
1/2 t. Pepper
1 Lb. mozzarella cheese thin sliced or grated

Instructions
Brown meat slowly and spoon off excess fat. Add next 5 ingredients and simmer uncovered, for 30 minutes. Cook noodled in large amount of salted water until tender and rinse. Combine remaining ingredients except for mozzarella.
LAYERS Place half the noodles on the bottom of a 13X9X2 baking pan. Spread on the noodles 1/2 the cottage filling. Next cover the filling with 1/2 mozzarella. Spread 1/2 the meat sauce REPEAT LAYERS
Bake at 375 degrees about 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. If assembled and refrigerated early, allow an extra 15 minutes at least in oven.
