     Rhubarb Cake

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 cups brown sugar packed
1/2 cup nuts
1 1/2 cups dice rhubarb
2/3 cup shortening (oil)
1 cup sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
 
1 egg

Instructions
Put all ingredients in a bowl, add milk and mix. (Add 1 tsp. vinegar to sour milk.) Pour into greased cake pan. Make a mixture of 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1 Tbsp. butter. Mix well and sprinkle over top of batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.
