     Cotes de Veau-au-Frommage (Veal with Cheese)

Ingredients
4 veal chops (2 cm thick)
4 slices of ham
4 slices of gruyere cheese
2 eggs
100 gr. butter
breadcrumbs
flour
1 lemon
salt and pepper
 

Instructions
Carefully cut a pouch lengthwise into the veal chops. Place a slice of ham and one slice of gruyere into the pouch. Close. Beat the eggs. Roll chops with flour, spice with salt and pepper, then roll in beaten breadcrumbs. Fry in butter for approximately 10 minutes on both sides.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with lemon slices, rice or mashed potatoes and vegetables.
