     SUMMER SAUSAGE

Ingredients
3 lb. hamburger
1 ½ tsp. liquid smoke
¼ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. onion powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 T. Mustard Seed
3 T. Tender Quick
1 c. water
 

Instructions
Mix all ingredients together well with hands and roll into 2 or 3 rolls. Wrap in foil, leaving shiny side of foil on the outside. Refrigerate for 24 hrs. Remove from refrigerator. Roll to make smooth rolls, and punch holes in bottom of foil. Place on a broiler pan or something that will drain, and bake for 1 ½ hrs. at 325 degrees. Remove and let cool. When cool remove from foil and store in plastic bag in refrigerator. Slice thinly, and enjoy with cheese and crackers.

This is my Christmas treat I give to family and friends. It’s something different than cookies and candy.
