     Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients
5 TB Butter
4 TB Flour
1 to 2 Cups half and half
2 TB White Wine (optional)
1 Cup Shredded Parmesan cheese
Black Pepper to taste
 

Instructions
Heat your butter in sauce pan over medium heat, slowly add flour stirring vigorously to avoid burning. When all of the flour has been added and mixture is smooth again, add half and half and white wine. Continue to stir over medium heat. (5-6 minutes) Mixture will begin to thicken, add parmesan cheese and pepper to taste.
When the parmesan has melted and your sauce has once again reached a smooth consistency toss over freshly boiled pasta. (for more flavor, you can add chopped green onion, capers or chives)
