     Venison Stew

Ingredients
1lb venison or beef
1 tbls vegetable oil
3 cups hot water
2 medium carrots
1 potato
1 small onion
1 tsp salt
Dumplings-
 
2 1/4 cup bisquick
2 1/3 cup milk

Instructions
Cook venison in oil until brown, add water, salt, and pepper, boil' reduce heat, cover and simmer 2 hours.
Stir in carrots, potatoes, and onion, boil. Cook 20min, add dumplings.
Stir 2 cups bisquik mix and 2/3 cup milk until soft dough forms. Drop by spoonfulls onto boiling stew or soup, reduce heat, cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Cover, cook for 10 minutes longer.
