Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl,
cream margarine and sugar together til light and
fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. In a
separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, soda,
and spices together. Alternate dry ingredients
and buttermilk to mixture. Fold in cooked prunes
and nuts. Grease 2 loaf pans and divide batter
between pans. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Let cool before turning out.
