     Rugelach cottage cheese

Ingredients
8 oz creamed cottage cheese
1 c butter or margarine
2 c flour
 

Instructions
Blend in food processor till pulls away from sides of bowl. Divide into three equal pieces. Chill. Filling- apricot jam, nuts cinnamon sugar . Or Chocolate chips, nuts cocoa powder, cinnamon and sugar.
Can roll in disks, fill then roll large end to point, or Jelly roll style...roll into 8 x 12 rectangle. Add filling and roll up. Pinch ends. Cut into sections not quite all the way through. Can freeze at this point. When ready to bake brush with egg and bake at 325-350 about 23 min until brown.
Be sure to bake on parchment or tin foil
