1/2 Cup Orzo
|

1/2 Cup diced onions

2 cloved minced agrlic

1/2 cup rice

2 cups of chicken broth

Fresh parsley ( optional)

Instructions |

|
In medium sauce pan, melt butter. Add orzo, cook and stir until orzo is golden brown.
|

stir in onions and sprnkle with salt. Cook until translucent,
|
|
|
add garlic, stir and cook 1 minute, stir in rice and chicken broth.
|
|
|
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until rice is tender. (20 minutes)
Remove from heat let stand 5 minutes, fluff with a fork
|
