     Sausage Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients
2 lb sausage, browned and drained (I use Jimmy Dean sage sausage)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10 3/4 ounce) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 (8 ounce) container of French onion dip
1/4 cup each diced, green and red bell pepper
salt and pepper to taste
1 30 ounce package frozen hash brown (or diced) potatoes, thawed
 

Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine cheese, soup, sour cream, onion dip, onion, peppers, and seasonings. Fold in potatoes. Mix well. Spread 1/2 of this mixture over bottom of 9 by 13 greased baking dish. Spread 1/2 of sausage over potato mixture. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until casserole is golden brown. I added extra cheese on top the last 15 minutes.
