     Red Velvet Cake

Ingredients
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
2 eggs
2 tablespoons cocoa
2 oz red food coloring
2 1/2 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
 
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon vinegar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 3 8 inch pans
Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. Mix cocoa and food coloring. Add to sugar.
Mix flour, and salt. Add to sugar, alternate with milk. Blend in vanilla. Combine soda and vinegar. Add to mix
Pour into pans and bake 20 to 25 mins
