Melt butter in pan and add onion. Cook until transparent. Add
flour, salt and pepper, and sugar. Add water and stir. Let cook
for about a minute and come to a boil.
Add sauerkraut, mix and lower heat. Toss in caraway. Let
simmer 10-15 mins., stirring periodically.
Can make in advance and reheat.
